Dear friend,

How is your practise going?

We’ve just returned from the Greek Island of Lesbos, it really is a perfect place to relax and absorb the blue sky and sea, a great opportunity to release and quieten down. The sea is very salty there and allowed even me to float without paddling – I’m usually negative buoyance! We will be there again next year for 2 weeks starting the 16th May 2020.

When we are in the present, we are all here now and when gathered together our collective attention is most powerful and lifts the whole group, as I know you’ve experienced. It’s like bread rolls rising together in the oven……they push and lift each other up! The reason we have these residentials and days is to support each other, share knowledge and strengthen our endeavour to practise.

Are you going to join us at Asthall Manor on the 13th and 14th July? A most popular venue for our yoga retreats, set in its well-established exotic gardens this 17th Century manor house has panoramic views of the Cotswold countryside. Arjuna, an Ishaya monk is our guest speaker on this weekend. He will talk with us on advaita, a non-jewel philosophy (as yoga is), he is also a great yoga teacher. We do have a few places left, please let us know if you would like to stay on the Saturday or Sunday night and we can arrange the picnic lunches for those staying with us. Those wishing to be picked up from Charlbury station we can be meet there 8.22am train from London Paddington arriving at Charlbury at 9.41am Please let us know if you’d like a lift or can give one. You’ll find maps and directions on our web https://www.yogawithruthwhite.com/residential-events
