Dear Friends,
Have A Good Day
It’s completely up to you how your day unfolds. We love to blame external circumstances for the way we feel, things like the dogs ran away, the children are playing up, or I have over-cooked the turkey. Blaming our circumstances for the way we feel. It’s always possible to have a good day. It is to do with the way you feel about and experience the world.
“Some people feel the rain; some people just get wet!” Making excuses for our so called ‘Bad Day” we blame the outside world and the situations for our mood. Whereas, it is really our take on the world and how we see it. Its to do with our attitude, our thinking. "We create our own world we suffer from ourselves".
Our attitude is everything. Patanjali knew this when he named posture as Asana; which translates from Sanskrit as attitude. As you practice notice if your attitude changes. Feel the flavor of the asana as you practice, and the other 7 limbs too, observe, how you feel after pranayama or meditation. You do need to practise your yoga to experience this change of attitude. We can only learn by experience. Observe how you feel after your practise, has your world changed?
As Marcel Proust said, “The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking out new landscapes but in having new eyes” For me I feel calmer, more loving and harmonious. One student said after her practice, “it’s funny but there are no aggravating people anymore!”
Come and strengthen your endeavour and practice:
